Welcome to Decembers Priority Update. Our 3 beat priorities have remained the same, thank you to those that have taken the time to complete our priority setting surveys. The priorities are:

For priority 1 the beat team have carried out the following activity:
03/12 AM Patrols – Thorpe Arnold, Waltham on the Wolds, Stathern, Eastwell, Belvoir, Eaton PM Patrols – Saxby, Garthorpe and Wymondham 08/12 Traffic calming in the villages of Stathern, Goadby Marwood, Hose, Scalford, Harby. 09/12 Patrols in Buckminster, Garthorpe, Coston and Coston Ford. PM Traffic calming on Long lane near to the A52. 20/12 WOTW Traffic Calming and weight restriction monitoring 10:00-10:45, Harby 11:00-11:45. Parking issue on Bolton Lane, Hose checked, no issues today @12:00. 3 weight restriction advice letters sent.
21/12 PCSO Speed Monitoring: 09:55-10:15 Grantham Road, Bottesford 2 letters for 36 & 34 (approx. 67 vehicles) 10:20-10:35 Rectory Lane Bottesford No speeding vehicles (37) 10:55-11:20 Stathern Lane, Harby 2 letters for 35 (96) 11:30-11:48 Scalford Road, Eastwell 2 letters (44) 29/12 Patrols through Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Bottesford, Belvoir, Knipton and Traffic Calming in Croxton Kerrial.
Response officers on 29/12 responded to an RTC on High Street, Bottesford – The driver was arrested failing a road side breath test.

21*747680 – 24/12 15:43 – 13:18 – The Green Hose – Arson - Criminal Damage to outbuilding 21*746936 – 24/12 – 03:00-05:00 – Business and Commercial Burglary – Belvoir Road, Knipton – attempt to break into building by removing tiles.

Evening patrols Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Plungar, Barkestone, Redmile, 15/12 PM Patrols Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Bottesford, Thorpe Arnold, Waltham on the Wolds, Evening patrols Freeby, Saxby, Coston, Garthorpe, Sproxton, Buckminster, Sewstern, Wymondham, Edmondthorpe 20/12 AM patrols, WOTW, Harby, Hose, Long Clawson, Holwell 23/12 PM Patrols Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Branston, Eaton, Waltham Evening patrols- Saxby, Coston, Sproxton, Garthorpe, Buckminster, Sewstern, Wymondham, Stapleford, Wyfordby, Brentingby. 24/12 Afternoon patrols, Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Bottesford, Redmile, Barkestone, Harby, Hose, Long Clawson, Holwell 29/12 Patrols through Scalford, Eastwell, Stathern, Bottesford, Belvoir, Knipton and Croxton Kerrial.
Vehicle Crime There have been 2 vehicle related crimes recorded for the Month of December as follows: 21*757489 – 31/12 00:05 – 00:10 – East End, Long Clawson – theft of motor vehicle – recovered nearby. 21*756578 – theft of motor vehicle as part of burglary as already mentioned above. Our patrol activity is as above with rural crime patrols. In addition a beat surgery was held at Belvoir Castle carpark on 03/12 between 11am and 12pm.
