Burbage Police Newsletter and Surveys

Alert message sent 30/08/2021 08:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Just a quick message today. Please see the attached monthly newsletter for a summary of Burbage crime and see the priorities which have been raised via Neighbourhood link by residents.

You can fill in the surveys via the links at the bottom of this message to have your say.

We completed a beat surgery at Three pots post office. We spoke to local residents about all types of crime prevention and it was really great to see people out and about.

There was a report of fireworks on 28th August around 21:30. This appears to be from the Arts festival area of Pugh’s Paddock (just to put your mind at ease)

A resident has also got in touch to share that they received a phone call from a company claiming she needed work completing around loft instillation. They asked if her age group was 50-85 or 85+. They tried to make an appointment with her. The number was 01202***68. Having done some checks, it appears this number was a spam call and likely a scam.

Remember to just put the phone down if you receive unexpected sales calls. https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
