Hello.

Thank you very much for being part of Neighbourhood Link. It is great to know these messages are being read and keep you informed. Here is your update for Burbage for the last couple of weeks.

Report of youths entering an unoccupied home on Balliol Road on 27th May around 18:00, causing damage. This incident is under investigation so if you have any information that may help please get in touch. Crime number is 21*293293.     

Report of motorbike theft from resident. Incident occurred on Brookside on 29/05 at around 16:45. Please get in touch if you have any information in relation to this incident if you have not already contacted us. Crime number 21*297168.

Smashed windows at the Millennium Hall on 30/05 at 16:00. The Incident is currently being investigated so if you are aware of those involved, please get in touch. Crime number 21*301304.

Theft of items from the unlocked motor vehicle from the location of Rainbow Way on 02/06/2021 (Co-op/Greggs car park). Items taken include a wallet. Crime number 21*303586

Registration plates stolen from a Ford Fiesta Zetec on School Close sometime between 17:00-20:30 on the 01/06/2021. Crime number 21*304227

Reports of suspicious vehicles/persons on the Sketchley Brook estate over the last week. We have completed some targeted patrols and checked vehicle registrations passed on. No crime has been linked to these concerns but please remain vigilant and call 101 or 999 immediately if you have any concerns with as much information as possible.

Please encourage friends/family and neighbours to sign up to Neighbourhood Link to ensure residents are kept informed to local crime trends and to raise awareness which hopefully results in reduced crime. 

Please review home/vehicle security and double check nothing of value is left insecure or lying about on show. We have plenty of crime prevention advice/products if you need any support.

We will be continuing targeted patrols but please call 101 or 999 immediately if a crime is happening or you are concerned by someone’s behaviour.
