“YOU” have told us about the priorities for policing in your area. We have received an excellent response!
Your feedback enables us to identify areas of concern for this beat.

Priority 1 – Road Safety
Speeding- Unfortunately only traffic calming and monitoring was carried out this month due to other commitments on the beat, but a few more areas were highlighted to PC Barlow who will concentrate on these going forward. Asfordby Village being one of them. We will be carrying out speed monitoring and enforcement in the month of November. Please watch this space for dates and feedback.

Priority 2 – Farm thefts
4 reports of breaks to farm locations in October. Victim’s contacted and investigations commenced. This has been highlighted to all officers who cover the areas and extra patrols put in place, especially on nights. Your beat team will continue to patrol these areas.

Priority 3 – Drugs
Male stopped on Asfordby Hill and hands over a cannabis cigarette. Community resolution issued to offender.
An address in Old Dalby highlighted to police due to strong smell of cannabis. Work still ongoing regarding this.

“YOUR” feedback is important to us to enable your beat team to work together with you and fight crime in your area. Please continue to do this by contacting your beat team, ringing 101 or reporting on-line at “Leicestershire Police”.

Thanks again for your support.

Your Beat Team.

PC Jon Barlow 1002, PCSO Tracey Biggs 6171, & PS Jamie Reeve 2196.
