Dear Residents

I would like to inform you of 3 crimes which have occurred in the last 48 hours.

On Tuesday 3rd November about 5.15am a White Transit Van was involved in the theft of a Red Honda Quad bike from a barn on the A607 between Thorpe Arnold and Waltham on the Wolds. The offenders reversed the van smashing open gates before loading the Quad Bike onto the van and making their escape towards Melton.

The transit van was on false plates but had distinctive markings on the passenger side. There was a large picture of Marilyn Monroe's face on the sliding door and a large heart shaped symbol on the rear panel. If you see this vehicle or similar please report this to 101 as soon as possible with the time, location and any direction of travel.

Between Monday 2nd November at 18:00 to Tuesday 3rd November at 09:00 a chain has been cut to a farm gate on Waltham Lane in Harby.

Between Tuesday 3rd November at 17:00 to Wednesday 4th November at 07:30 2 galvanised 8ft Steel Gates have been stolen from a farm on Glebe Road, Wymondham.

If you recall seeing any suspicious vehicles or people around the time of these offences please reply to this message.
