Dear resident,

Thank you for completing our recent survey about priorities for policing in your local area. We had an excellent response. Your feedback has helped us identify particular areas of focus on this beat. They are:

You said - Anti-social Behaviour
We did -  Local officers have been made aware of numerous occasions where young people have been causing issues within park areas across the beat predominantly in Leicester Forest East. Local police have also had reports of young people in abandoned buildings in Leicester Forest East Your beat team are working with land owners and the local council to make this site secure and deal with any young people found at the site. The vast majority of individuals have been behaving themselves and there is nothing significant to report at this time patrols will continue to take place into November.

You said - Vehicle Crime.
We did – Local officers have been on proactive patrols across the beat dedicated to vehicle crime. They will continue to target areas where incidents are reported.

You said - Road safety issues
We did - Local officers have received a number of complaints regarding road safety issues including speeding and parking. Since school returned in September parking always becomes a problem. Your local officers will be looking at these areas.  They have also assisted Special Constables at road safety events across the beat.

What you have told us has helped shape our priorities for this beat. My colleagues and I will continue to keep you up to date on our progress. You can also follow what we are doing at Blaby Police on Facebook and Twitter.

If you have any further feedback, questions or concerns then please do not hesitate to get in contact or say hello when you see us on the street. Our next surgery/event is at the Tesco Express, Leicester Forest East on 12th November between 12:00 & 13:00 hours and we would very much like to see you there.

Of course, please remember you can report crime online at www.leics.police.uk or call 101. Please dial 999 in an emergency.

Thank you again for your support.

Your beat officers,
