Your local priorities: Survey Results

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Citizen

Thank you for completing our recent survey about priorities for policing in your local area. We had an excellent response. Your feedback has helped us identify particular areas of focus on this beat. They are:
Drug Dealing/Taking

In order to address ASB, we will shortly be carrying out partnership work with the council to identify the root cause of these problems. It would also really benefit us if you could tell us what sort of ASB you are experiencing. We will update you when we have completed this work.

For Drug Dealing/Taking, we are continuing to execute warrants and conduct proactive work. We have recently secured some funding to tackle violent crime, which we are aware tends to link to the dealing and taking of drugs. This funding will be used for proactive patrols both in uniform and in plain clothes along with educational work.

What you have told us has helped shape our priorities for this beat. My colleagues and I will keep you up-to-date on our progress. You can also follow what we are doing at @SouthLeicesterNPA on Twitter.

If you have any further feedback, questions or concerns, please contact us on NH Link or any social media accounts or say hello when we you see us on the street.
Of course, please remember you can report crime online at or call 101. Please dial 999 in an emergency.

Thank you again for your support.

Your beat officers,

PS Ben Widdowson, PC 4979 Taylor, PC 3028 Apps, PCSO 6170 Donington and PCSO 6601 Moore-Freakley.
