Witness appeal

Alert message sent 14/10/2020 08:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear resident, last night a moped with 2 riders failed to stop for police officers in the Braunstone Park / Gallards Hill area of Braunstone. Both were wearing helmets covering their faces and we only have a partial vehicle registration number of AK58 given by a witness. In a recent survey, residents raised nuisance motorcycles as one of their top priorities. Often youths using mopeds go on to commit other more serious offences using them. Please help us to identify last nights riders. If you know the identities of them or the full vehicle registration of the moped or know where the moped is being stored, please contact police via the police website at leics.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting incident 592-13/10/20.
