Tescos Thorpe Road Update

Alert message sent 11/10/2020 13:16:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Final warning to those using their vehicle to cause Anti-Social Behaviour at Tesco’s on Thorpe Road.

In cooperation with Tesco’s, I’ve put warning posters up in their car park this afternoon.

The posters inform those who gather there of the Police powers, that we will enforce on any vehicle that is causing, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public.

The good news is that local residents have informed their local counsellor last week that the issue has improved recently, since the greater Police involvement.

However, we will continue to engage, educate and if necessary, enforce with the groups that gather at the location. We will also continue to work with Tesco’s to ensure that the issue carries on improving.

Please report any Anti-Social Behaviour online at, https://www.leics.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-b/report-antisocial-behaviour/

Thank you.
