Burbage Police August Newsletter and Update

Please see attached our monthly newsletter.

We have had no more reports of vehicle theft or theft from vans since our last neighbourhood alert but we have received one report from the Hinckley road area of theft of number plate. Please ensure you report this as these plates may be used in crime at a later date. Also remember you can use anti-theft screws to reduce the chances of your plates being taken. I still have a limited supply at the office if you would like some.

Sometime overnight on 30th July into 31st July, a vehicle has been broken into via an unknown method. Items of golfing kit were taken. This happened in the Wolvey road area. If you have any information or CCTV that may help, please get in touch. May this also be a reminder not to leave anything in your vehicle.

We have had a set of keys handed in to the Parish Council which were found near the new Pavilion on the Britannia fields on 30/07/2020. If you have lost any keys recently in this area please message me a description.

Please continue to report any suspicious activity to 101. It really helps us combat crime in the area. Information such as vehicle registration plates, descriptions and direction of travel really helps us identify if there are any concerns or not.

Thank you, Take care, Darren 6035
