Good afternoon everyone

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, so they say.

Sadly, Cybercrime and fraud are an ever present risk to businesses of all sizes.

You could be targeted, you could be caught out in a phishing campaign, be involved in a data breach somewhere, or you could be collateral damage as part of an attack on another organisation you deal with.

Preparedness is key - and seeing as it's #BCAW2020 (Business Crime Awareness Week) it seems timely to remind (or introduce, if you weren't already aware) organisations of the free resources available to help build your resilience to cybercrime.

NCSC has a vast array of easy to use, easy to understand resources, all free of charge for businesses to use.  And there is also "Exercise in a Box"

"Exercise in a Box is an online tool from the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) which helps organisations test and practise their response to a cyber attack. It is completely free and you don’t have to be an expert to use it.

The service provides exercises, based around the main cyber threats, which your organisation can do in your own time, in a safe environment, as many times as you want. It includes everything you need for setting up, planning, delivery, and post-exercise activity, all in one place."

Exercise in a Box is available here:

Finally, in addition to the above, why not give my social media channels a follow for more advice :

Leicestershire Police Cyber Aware - predominately aimed at individuals and communities

I hope this information is helpful - if you have any questions, please do contact me.
