Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Dear Resident,

There was an attempted burglary on Goscote Hall Road in Birstall around 1.15am on 18/3/20. An attempt was made to force open the front door however thankfully no entry was gained. It is believed the suspects were after an expensive Audi car on the driveway. If you have any information regarding this, please contact us on 101 or via the Leics Police website quoting crime ref: 20000150446. Please also remember to lock your doors & windows, set your alarm if you have one and hide vehicle keys away, as thieves are often trying to get these in order to steal the vehicles.

The Birstall & Wanlip Policing Team.
