I just wanted to keep you up to date with the last 9 days incidents in your area.

10th and 15th March residents front doors have been damaged on School Street Syston.
13th March there was a theft overnight from a van on Cresswell Close Thurmaston
15th March number plates were stolen overnight on Roman Way Syston, Tyres slashed on Victoria St Thurmaston, a stolen digger recovered from Barkby and property stolen from a car on Upper Church St Syston.

Also of note
Persons are tampering with the charity bins at Asda
ASB with youths on Oxford St syston/Mcdonalds, climbing on local business roofs in Syston and general asb in the park off of Blackfriars Road Syston.
Persons seen acting suspiciously in car parks off Wolsey Way Syston, in gardens on Red Hill Lane and trying car doors on Lonsdale Road Thurmaston.

We have also had reports of unknown persons harming horses in a paddock off of Grange Avenue Rearsby.


We are actively policing these locations and working with partner agencies and residents to address these issues.

I'm also glad to announce that experienced officers PC1651 Jason STOWELL and PCSO 6868 Fiona LACEY have recently joined the team.
