Since the last Neighbourhood watch brief we have had one report of theft in Well Court, Empingham. Unknown persons have taken tractor from Paddock. This incident occurred between 08/10/2019 14:00 & 09/10/2019 14:15.
Three reports of criminal damage in Glebe way, Oakham.  Unknown persons have damaged vehicle wing mirrors. These incidents occurred between 11/10/2019 19:00 & 11/10/2019 20:26.

Thefts of Catalytic Converters - Thefts of catalytic converters is on the rise across the region and Hondas and Toyota vehicles are at the fore of this offending. Manufacturers can add a cage around the cat converters at a cost, consideration should be given to modifying vehicle security. Recent offences have happened during the day in retail car parks, offenders may dress as mechanics so the public will not give them a second glance.
