Dear Members

Leicestershire Trading Standards are warning of a rise in scam websites where goods ordered are not delivered or unauthorised amounts are taken from bank accounts. Trading Standards is urging people to check for warning signs such as spelling mistakes on websites or a lack of contact details.

Look out for the padlock in the address bar when paying for goods this denotes a secure payment site.
