Good Morning
Here are the latest crimes recorded on our systems for Melton Mowbray and the surrounding villages.  If after reading this update there is anything you would like to notify Leicestershire Police about please make contact via Neighbourhood Link.

Theft
May 22nd (23:30) – May 23rd (12:00): Algernon Road, Melton Mowbray – secure bicycle stolen from outside property.
May 24th (17:00) – May 25th (08:12): Church Lane, Stathern – cast iron water pump stolen from front garden of property.
May 27th (10:10): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – known female shoplifter and daughter enter retail premises and steal a packet of sandwiches.
May 28th (13:00 – 13:10): Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray – known females steal candles from retail premises.
May 28th (14:00): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – two shoplifters steal several items from supermarket.
May 25th (12:00) – May 26th (18:45): Jarvis Drive, Melton Mowbray – 3’ garden gnome stolen from garden of residential property.
Criminal damage
May 24th (20:00) – May 25th (08:00): Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray – shop window is damaged.
Vehicle Crime
May 22nd (20:00) – May 23rd (06:00): Princess Drive, Melton Mowbray – van broken into via rear doors. Tools stolen.
May 23rd (20:00) – May 24th (19:30): secure vehicle has front and rear number plates removed.  The rear window of the vehicle was also broken.
May 28th (08:00 – 10:00): Baldocks Lane, Melton Mowbray – insecure vehicle broken into and items stolen.
